Quality Monitoring

Carers Trust – Epping Forest, Harlow, Havering and Redbridge Crossroads Carer Services are regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure the services we provide meet nationally required quality standards. We take all aspects of quality very seriously and are very proud of the excellent services we deliver and continuously strive to improve our standards.

The CQC inspect us as a provider of care services. The inspections are carried out on a regular cycle and are often unannounced. Interim unannounced visits can be made at any time. We are not permitted to provide care services unless we have current CQC registration.

In all cases, the CQC found that we were providing high quality and safe services.

All our care staff have clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which is amalgamating and replacing the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

We carry out an annual user satisfaction survey to collect the views of all our users on the services we provide and whether they are meeting individuals need. These results are analysed and reported in the organisation’s Annual Report.
